Awesome pics! Some of the city shots remind me a little of Morocco. It's definitely a different country, though (of course, duh). I am jealous of your French minor, as it's probably making it easier to communicate with a few people (granted not everyone, but still). Take care of yourself and keep in touch. You have my email.
